World Thinking Day 22nd Feb 2011

World Thinking Day is celebrated everywhere by Girl Scouts. The theme this year is 'together we can end extreme poverty and hunger'. This World Thinking Day - lets all take a few moments to think about those less fortunate than ourselves and how we can help others and our environment. Lets face it - the tragic recent events in Haiti have put a lot of things into perspective. I don't know about you, but it has reaffirmed in my mind simply how short life is and how not to take anything for granted. It is ironic how a tragedy can open your eyes. Whether you can donate some food to the starving, send your old clothes to a charity shop or start helping out more at home - it is these little acts of kindness that can help our world be a much nicer place. Please pass this on – forward to a friend If you liked this blog – tell your friends, colleagues, local schools and nurseries and help us help others! Thank you.
