World Thinking Day is celebrated everywhere by Girl Scouts. The theme this year is 'together we can end extreme poverty and hunger'.
This World Thinking Day - lets all take a few moments to think about those less fortunate than ourselves and how we can help others and our environment. Lets face it - the tragic recent events in Haiti have put a lot of things into perspective. I don't know about you, but it has reaffirmed in my mind simply how short life is and how not to take anything for granted. It is ironic how a tragedy can open your eyes.
Whether you can donate some food to the starving, send your old clothes to a charity shop or start helping out more at home - it is these little acts of kindness that can help our world be a much nicer place.
