Both sides of the Brain

They have different ways of working and are better at different things. Some people may be stronger with looking at numbers, logic and sequencing and others may be more in touch with their creative side.

By training up both sides – you can improve how you perform academically and practically and balance out your talents!

The Left side is used for analysis, lists and words. The right side concentrates on our rhythm and our imagination. Normally at school (or work), you may rely on your left hand side, but you need to train your right hand side to help you remember things (as memory is associated with imagination!)

A fun exercise is to try writing with the hand that you do not normally write with. You will notice how difficult this is – but with regular practice, this will strengthen your other hand and in turn strengthen that side of your body and that  side of your brain.
